BWORKZ exists to help more people discover the fascinating world of beekeeping and to make it accessible to everyone, regardless of age, ability or background.

We have established a fully accessible training apiary in Newport, South Wales, and are working towards expanding our projects across Wales. Through our apiaries, observation rooms, educational workshops and community outreach, we aim to introduce more people to beekeeping while creating opportunities to improve wellbeing, learn new skills and connect with nature.

Whether you're taking your very first look inside a hive, considering becoming a beekeeper or simply wanting to learn more about honey bees, BWORKZ offers a friendly and welcoming environment where everyone can enjoy the experience.

To support our work, we raise funds through the sale of our honey, donations, fundraising events, grants and the generosity of our supporters. Every purchase, donation and partnership helps us provide more equipment, create new educational opportunities and reach more communities.

Our charitable objectives

The objects of BWORKZ CIO are for the public benefit:

• To promote the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment.

• To advance education by increasing understanding of the importance of bees, pollinators and biodiversity, and their role in protecting our environment and responding to climate change.

• To promote, facilitate and support the craft of beekeeping, helping more people become responsible beekeepers and increasing the number of healthy hives and colonies.

• To provide accessible opportunities for people of all abilities and backgrounds to experience and learn about beekeeping in a safe, inclusive and supportive environment.

• To work alongside schools, charities, community groups and partner organisations to inspire future generations and strengthen local communities through education and conservation.
